A: The website migration service on offer at Pivad Design is completely free of cost and consists of moving all your files, databases and e–mails from your current provider to your brand–new web hosting account with us. We will also update all the settings necessary for your web sites to be fully operational on our cutting–edge cloud hosting platform.Our technicians are fully capable of transferring any type of website. With years of work experience in the industry, they are well–versed in the inner workings of our cloud hosting platform, our Control Panel as well as all other famous Control Panels. For them, moving a custom app with multiple custom libraries is as easy as moving a simple WordPress–based weblog.

A: While we cannot give you a precise ETA, since there are lots of variables, among them the size of the files and databases, the location of the current host’s server, the complexity of your website and the current workload of our Website Migration Department, etc., we will try our very best to transfer your website within 48h, and in some cases – within 24h (in case the website content is not very large).

A: We do not request any private info. We’ll require, though, the login info for your current web hosting account as well as the name of the website that you wish to move.

A: User privacy is among our principal responsibilities – that is why, both our payment transaction page and our CP login page are secured with enterprise–level Secure Sockets Layer certificates. Then we will explain to you how to transfer the domain over to your hosting account with us and how to update your DNS resource records.

A: While we transfer your content, your hosting provider won’t be aware of the transfer at all. We will not get in touch with them in any way.

A: We support all Linux–powered hosting platforms. In essence, if we can get access to your Control Panel, we will be able to transfer your website.The only platforms that we do not support are closed–source website creation platforms such as Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square, Mr Site, etc.
